I certainly did not have time for these lessons, but I can see the value. I'm glad we're going to make the 20 for 2.0 available for patrons. We can now point them to a particular lesson/process when we think appropriate.

Well, the FRE staff got a big kick from seeing my Avatar which I placed on the dance floor with the glittering spinning ball, having once been a "dancing queen" in my younger years!

Sadly, my first experience with YouTube happened when we lost our wonderful teen Tonya Scriven. I first heard this song at Tonya's memorial service. Found out Trisha Yearwood's song was old and couldn't be bought. BUT, here it was out there to be listened to anytime I want to think of Tonya! My first reaction is "how will I have time for this?" But I have been complaining that my husband, who buys the daily paper on the way to work, knows all the news and does not want to listen to CNN rants when he comes home late. So this would be a great way for me to keep up. Learning the news early should also be a big help in answering informational questions at work. However, most of our system employees are AT LEAST six sessions/weeks ahead of me. I have had so many deadlines within the time this tutorial was begun that frankly, anger and frustration have been emotions that I have experienced more than once.

I remember the first time a cousin's message appeared on my aol mail screen! For an old person, THAT experience blew my mind! My most pleasant memories were, when working late at night, my niece IM'd me from college at Auburn. I rarely was able to see her in those years, so I used to print out her messages to keep.

This winter of our discontent . . . . As I write, a convergence zone hangs over our beautiful island. Damp. Cold. Dreary – and it’s May. However, on my way home, I look forward to watching the osprey, as she and her mate, now safely returned from their winter travels, repair their nest on the telephone pole. At home our hummers are slugging it out over the carbs in our feeders. Their tiny bodies must have lots of energy food in these cold days. We need to enjoy watching them and listening for their little engine-motors over our heads, while we can. When the flowers bloom this summer, the liquid in those feeders will develop mold quickly, from disuse. As they peer outside our dining room and watch our rabbit parents mowing down grass right by the window, our dogs are tortured with their anxiety over this failed hunt. These rabbits are not for eating! We have seen one tiny, tiny rabbit baby as well. Over our house, the eagle pair who nest only a mile from us at ocean’s edge, are looking for food or just doing eagle soaring things. All things considered, maybe I’ll stick with Robin Williams who said, “Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s party,’” rather than Shakespeare!
